About My Challenge
I’m completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness of mental health and to fundraise for Samaritans.
Not because I love push-ups (I really don’t), but because mental health matters — and this cause is personal to me.
Talking about mental health is so important, and I believe it should be part of everyday conversation. So many people struggle quietly, and sometimes all it takes is a small moment of connection to make a difference. Checking in on your friends, asking how they really are, or spending even six minutes a day talking to someone can genuinely change how a person feels in that moment. Those conversations matter more than we realise, and they remind people that they’re not alone.
There are people out there who feel completely alone, and Samaritans are often the ones who pick up the phone and stay with them through their darkest moments. That kind of support gives people hope, and it saves lives.
If you can support this, thank you. Truly
Supporting Samaritans
Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.
Samaritans make sure there’s always someone to listen if you’re in crisis or feeling suicidal. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
By donating, you're helping someone with suicidal thoughts get help when they need it most.
