About My Challenge
Suicide is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, particularly among young adults, with over 720,000 lives lost each year.
Every loss sends ripples far beyond the individual, affecting families, friends, and entire communities.
I’ve sadly lost friends I grew up with to suicide and have witnessed others lose close family members. I also live with depression myself, and I understand how low moments can creep in and manifest differently for each of us.
I know this won’t change the world, but this venture is a way for me to keep moving forward in my own battles, and I hope it might help someone, somewhere, someday.
If any of you feel able, I’d be grateful for your support through a donation, or simply by joining me on the journey and helping keep me motivated.
Thank you for reading.
God bless.
I'm Jamie and I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness of mental health and fundraise for Samaritans. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds enable Samaritans to answer more calls for help from those at crisis point or feeling suicidal.
Dedicated to: To all those we lost, Friends and Familly.
Supporting Samaritans
Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.
Samaritans make sure there’s always someone to listen if you’re in crisis or feeling suicidal. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
By donating, you're helping someone with suicidal thoughts get help when they need it most.
