About My Challenge

I'm completing 2,000 push-ups (some of these may be substituted for sit-ups, squats, etc. for variety!) in 23 days to raise awareness of mental health and fundraise for Samaritans.

As well as (hopefully) getting fitter, I am completing this challenge because the cause is very close to my heart. As someone who has, and still does, struggle with depression and suicidal ideation, I know all too well how vital the work of Samaritans is.

My fundraising goal would enable Samaritans to answer 30 calls, which could mean 30 people in crisis having support when they need it most.

Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds enable Samaritans to answer more calls for help from those at crisis point or feeling suicidal.

Supporting Samaritans

Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.

Samaritans make sure there’s always someone to listen if you’re in crisis or feeling suicidal. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

By donating, you're helping someone with suicidal thoughts get help when they need it most.
