About My Challenge

I’m sure a lot of you know Samaritans is very important to me and volunteering as a listening volunteer has changed my life for the better in so many ways.

I'm now completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness of mental health and fundraise for Samaritans. Please support me as I push for better mental health from 5-27 February. All proceeds enable Samaritans to answer more calls for help from those at crisis point or feeling suicidal.

I’m doing stair push-ups as my back (and arms) aren’t up to full press ups but am looking to do 100 per day in increasing reps, so if you see me leaning against steps, bars or benches please encourage me once you stop laughing!! Currently up to  30 reps per batch so let’s see if I can get that up in the time frame.

Supporting Samaritans

Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.

Samaritans make sure there’s always someone to listen if you’re in crisis or feeling suicidal. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

By donating, you're helping someone with suicidal thoughts get help when they need it most.
