Turning Loss Into Hope: 2,000 Push-Ups for Mental Health
I’m taking on a personal challenge that means more to me than just fitness.
I’ve lost a close friend to mental health struggles, and it’s a loss that never really leaves you. It’s changed how I see silence, how I see “I’m fine,” and how important it is that people have somewhere to turn before it feels too late.
From 5–27 February, I’m completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness for mental health and to fundraise for Samaritans — an organisation that answers calls from people at their lowest, often when no one else is listening.
Every donation, big or small, helps Samaritans be there for someone who might be struggling in ways we can’t see.
If you’re able to donate, sponsor a few push-ups, or simply share this challenge, you’ll be helping turn loss into support — and silence into hope.
Thank you for standing with me on this 💙
Supporting Samaritans
Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.
Samaritans make sure there’s always someone to listen if you’re in crisis or feeling suicidal. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
By donating, you're helping someone with suicidal thoughts get help when they need it most.
