Mental Mindset

For me this is a personal challenge with good means behind it. My partner has struggled for a long time with mental health, often finding it hard to open up and explain her feelings to me and family around her. I would never be able to put myself into her shoes.
The hardest step with mental challenges, is to open up and admit you may need help. She did this recently and all of us are proud of her. Admitting you need help should make you feel strong and empowered and believe you're taking the first step to getting better.
Being able to have someone you know you can talk to will always relieve the stress you have inside. I always say when my partner does open up to me; a load shared, is a load halved.
2000 pushups is a large number for someone who hasn't attempted a challenge like this, like me. The first step, or should I say, the first push up, shows me taking the first step to set myself off on a path I wish to complete.

Supporting Samaritans

Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.

Samaritans make sure there’s always someone to listen if you’re in crisis or feeling suicidal. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

By donating, you're helping someone with suicidal thoughts get help when they need it most.
